Ms. McCandless has specialized in corporate communications for the last ten years. In addition to working with GigaBeam for the last five years, Ms. McCandless is a DRC certified mediator for the State of North Carolina and has served as a council member on the Dispute Resolution Section of the NC Bar Association for the last four years. Ms. McCandless also Co-Founded SunCastle Microwave, LLC, a North Carolina company offering millimeter wave design services. Prior to joining GigaBeam, Ms. McCandless owned and operated a paralegal/mediation business in Washington State where she consulted frequently as a facilitator specializing in preparing complex construction defect cases involving multiple parties for mediation. She has worked also as a freelance writer and her articles have appeared in magazines and newspapers both in the United States and Mexico. Ms. McCandless received her BA in Classical Civilizations from UCLA and was nominated to the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society in 1984.
