Mr. Hinton has been employed at GigaBeam since October 2007 as Director of Channels and Alliances, and now is the VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Prior to GigaBeam, Mr. Hinton served as President of ONS Communications, a worldwide technology sales firm in Raleigh, North Carolina, which was the exclusive North American representation for Canon’s high capacity Free Space Optics line as well as a battery of related wireless, communication, and related networking products. At ONS and Optelligence, he was instrumental in designing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns and building global sales channels for these products from the ground up. He was also responsible for instituting channel and direct sales programs that are today still responsible for the commercial success of many of these products in the market. Mr. Hinton has held senior executive positions with Optelligence, Ulanguzi, and InterLan and brings nearly 20 years worth of Channel and Direct Sales relationships to Gigabeam. Mr. Hinton graduated Cum Laude from North Carolina State with a Degree in Business and Marketing, Honors in Economics, and a minor in Spanish.
