S. Jay Lawrence, CEO and President. Mr. Lawrence joined Gigabeam in March 2006 as the Vice President of Government Sales. His contributions to GigaBeam’s largest market verticals earned him his subsequent roles as Vice President of National Sales, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, and President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining GigaBeam, Mr. Lawrence served as Executive Director for Loea Corporation, the first entrant into the 70/80GHz fixed wireless communications marketplace. At Loea, Mr. Lawrence was instrumental in profiling the fixed wireless market and the impact of the 70/80GHz technology, along with driving some of the early policy developments for rulemaking and initial customer placements of this technology. Prior to Loea, Mr. Lawrence was a Senior Executive at Mueller Electric, a privately held passive component business. At Mueller, Mr. Lawrence lead a restructuring and resultant turnaround accomplished by migrating production offshore to China, capping costs of operations and bringing new products to market to meet customer needs. Mr. Lawrence has also held senior positions at Clare Semiconductor, where he participated in the reconstruction and sale of a product division of high frequency switching and relay products to Sumida. He held positions in Product Engineering and Business Development for EXOS, a Boston-based start up, which pioneered tactical feedback robotics technology that was later sold to Microsoft. Mr. Lawrence holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Boston University.

Douglas Lockie, CTO, and Co-Founder. Mr. Lockie is a nationally respected expert in millimeter wave technology. He has authored or co-authored 12 patents in the field of microwave and millimeter wave communications components and systems. Mr. Lockie served as an Avionics Officer in the US Air Force and was instrumental in introducing Gallium Arsenide microwave circuitry into radar (the F-15) and missile systems (AMRAAM AIM-120). Mr. Lockie has worked for Watkins-Johnson Company, co-founded Pacific Monolithics, and founded Endgate Corporation (which became Endwave Corporation). Mr. Lockie led the development of microwave and millimeter radio subsystems at 12, 15, 18, 23, 28, 38, and 60 GHz. He was a member of the FCC rulemaking committee for LMDS, has served on the FCC Spectrum Application Panel and is presently Co-Chair of the Wireless Communication Association “Above 60 GHz Spectrum Initiative”. Mr. Lockie received a BSEE from Montana State University.

Richard Fiorentino brings over 39 years of experience in the technology sector, specializing in the development, marketing and sale of sophisticated computer based information technology systems. Currently, Mr. Fiorentino is the chief executive officer of eyeSeven, Inc., a private company developing software enabling technology for the control of network cameras and sensors. Mr. Fiorentino was previously a member of the Board of Directors and vice president of engineering of Marathon Technologies Corp. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fiorentino was a product manager with Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Fiorentino received his BSc. in Computer Science from Boston University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

General Merrill A. McPeak served as President of McPeak and Associates, a management consulting firm, since 1995. General McPeak entered the U.S. Air Force in 1957 and served in various positions throughout his tenure. From October 1990 until October 1994, he was Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force. He also served as Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Air Forces, from 1988 until 1990, Commander, Twelfth Air Force, from 1987 until 1988 and Deputy Chief of Staff, Programs and Resources, from 1985 until 1987. He serves as director of Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE: TEK) and several private companies. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from San Diego State College and a Master of Science degree in international relations from George Washington University.

Roger M. Widmann
Mr. Widmann has been an active member of the US financial community as a lawyer, venture capitalist and investment banker since 1964.
He was a Principal of the investment banking firm of Tanner & Co., Inc. from 1996 to 2004, providing advice and negotiation and evaluation services to corporations ranging from Fortune 200 companies to mid-sized firms. From 1986 to 1995, Mr. Widmann was a Senior Managing Director of Chemical Banking Corporation. He established the Bank’s fee-based corporate finance business in 1986. He was responsible for projects ranging in the United States, South America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Widmann was a founder and CEO of First Reserve Corporation, the largest independent energy investing firm in the U.S. He was also Senior Vice President with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, responsible for the firm’s global investment banking business. He has also been a Vice President with New Court Securities Corporation (now Rothschild, Inc.), completing a series of venture capital and merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Widmann began his career in 1964 as an SEC trial attorney.
Mr. Widmann was Chairman of Lydall, Inc. (NYSE), Manchester, Connecticut, a manufacturer of thermal, acoustical and filtration materials, from 1998 to 2004, and a board member from 1974 to 2004. He is a director of two other public companies: Cedar Shopping Centers, Inc., Port Washington, New York, a real estate investment trust and Standard Motor Products, Inc., Long Island City, New York, a manufacturer of automobile parts. He was a director of First Reserve Corporation, Greenwich, Connecticut from its inception in 1980 until December 1995, of Weatherford Enterra, Houston, Texas from 1993 to 1998, and of Paxar Corporation, White Plains, New York, from 2004 until its sale in 2007.
Mr. Widmann has been a senior moderator of the Executive Seminar in the Humanities at The Aspen Institute since 1990 and of the Liberty Fellowship in Greenville, SC, since 2005. He has been a Director of the March of Dimes of Greater New York since 1988. He is also a Director of Oxfam America, an affiliate of Oxfam International, the global humanitarian and crisis relief organization.
Mr. Widmann earned a B.A. degree from Brown University, cum laude, and a J.D. Degree from Columbia Law School.

Salvatore S. Benti
Sal S. Benti has been in the telecommunications and technology industry for over 35 years and in executive management positions for the past 25 years. Mr. Benti is currently the President and CEO and a Director of CEYX Technologies, Inc. a privately held, fabless semiconductor company headquartered in San Diego, CA. that specializes in digital power controls.
Prior to CEYX, Mr. Benti was the President and CEO of Malibu Networks a broadband wireless equipment manufacturer that provided wireless last mile equipment with advanced QoS management capabilities to many foreign telephone companies and wireless service providers worldwide.
Prior to Malibu Networks, Mr. Benti was an Executive Vice President at Adaptive Broadband Corporation (formerly California Microwave, Inc.) a NASDAQ listed wireless equipment manufacturer based in Sunnyvale, CA. Mr. Benti was responsible for all aspects of Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Customer Support and was a key member of the executive team responsible for creating a company with a $2 billion market cap.
Prior to Adaptive Broadband, Mr. Benti held various executive and senior management positions with ComStream Corporation, GE Spacenet Communications, RCA Satellite Communications and ITT Business Systems where he focused on Sales, Marketing and Business Development.
Mr. Benti attended Seton Hall University with a focus on Business Administration.
