S. Jay Lawrence, Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Lawrence joined Gigabeam in March 2006 as the Vice President of Government Sales. His contributions to GigaBeam’s largest market verticals earned him his subsequent roles as Vice President of National Sales, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, and President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining GigaBeam, Mr. Lawrence served as Executive Director for Loea Corporation, the first entrant into the 70/80GHz fixed wireless communications marketplace. At Loea, Mr. Lawrence was instrumental in profiling the fixed wireless market and the impact of the 70/80GHz technology, along with driving some of the early policy developments for rulemaking and initial customer placements of this technology. Prior to Loea, Mr. Lawrence was a Senior Executive at Mueller Electric, a privately held passive component business. At Mueller, Mr. Lawrence lead a restructuring and resultant turnaround accomplished by migrating production offshore to China, capping costs of operations and bringing new products to market to meet customer needs. Mr. Lawrence has also held senior positions at Clare Semiconductor, where he participated in the reconstruction and sale of a product division of high frequency switching and relay products to Sumida. He held positions in Product Engineering and Business Development for EXOS, a Boston-based start up, which pioneered tactical feedback robotics technology that was later sold to Microsoft. Mr. Lawrence holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Boston University.

Mark Hahn, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration Prior to joining GigaBeam, Mr. Hahn was CFO at BuildLinks, Inc., a provider of construction management software to the residential construction industry, where he led the development of that company's strategic plans and drove the closing of several rounds of venture capital investment. Prior to BuildLinks, Mr. Hahn was CFO at Performaworks, Inc., a provider of performance management software, and Charles & Colvard, Ltd. At Charles & Colvard, Mr. Hahn led the growth of the firm from three to 75 employees and spearheaded that company’s $45 million IPO and subsequent SEC compliance. Prior to Charles & Colvard, Mr. Hahn spent 12 years with Ernst & Young where he held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Senior Manager. At Ernst & Young, Mr. Hahn led project management, engagement planning, client relations and the development of both public and private growth oriented companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.

Douglas Lockie, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of GigaBeam Corporation, Mr. Lockie is a nationally respected expert in millimeter wave technology. He has authored or co-authored 12 patents in the field of microwave and millimeter wave communications components and systems. Mr. Lockie served as an Avionics Officer in the US Air Force and was instrumental in introducing Gallium Arsenide microwave circuitry into radar (the F-15) and missile systems (AMRAAM AIM-120). Mr. Lockie has worked for Watkins-Johnson Company, co-founded Pacific Monolithics, and founded Endgate Corporation (which became Endwave Corporation). Mr. Lockie led the development of microwave and millimeter radio subsystems at 12, 15, 18, 23, 28, 38, and 60 GHz. He was a member of the FCC rulemaking committee for LMDS, has served on the FCC Spectrum Application Panel and is presently Co-Chair of the Wireless Communication Association “Above 60 GHz Spectrum Initiative”. Mr. Lockie received a BSEE from Montana State University.

James Kennett, Chief Marketing Officer Prior to becoming Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Kennett served as the Vice President of Business Development and has been instrumental in developing GigaBeam’s global market. Prior to GigaBeam, Mr. Kennett founded, developed and sold a number of successful companies in the security and communications sectors, and is regarded as a pioneer in the LEO space industry. He has over twenty years of international market development and regulatory experience, and was a member of the ASEAN Business Forum, and Federal Vice President of the Australian Small Business Association. He has served on the Boards of the Queensland University of Technology School for Satellite Navigation, and the Griffith University Centre for Microwave Studies

Mike Hinton, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Mr. Hinton has been employed at GigaBeam since October 2007, as Director of Channels and Alliances. Prior to GigaBeam, Mr. Hinton served as President of ONS Communications in Raleigh, North Carolina where he was instrumental in building global sales channels for a battery of communication hardware products, including Free Space Optics. Mr. Hinton has held senior positions with Optelligence, Ulanguzi, and InterLan. Mr. Hinton holds a degree from North Carolina State.

Tony Breland, Vice President of Field and Sustaining Engineering, Mr. Breland has been employed at GigaBeam since June 2006, and has been a pivotal leader in the construction of field engineering, services and product enhancements. Prior to Gigabeam, Mr. Breland served as Principle Network Architect at Cyveillance Inc, where he designed a state of the art ASP network solution which enabled the company to improve its competitive edge in the market place. Mr. Breland also has held senior management and technical roles with AT&T / NorthPoint Communications, Alcatel Lucent / Xylan Corporation, and Verizon / GTE.

Don E. Peck, Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing. Prior to joining GigaBeam, Don served as Director, RF-Micro-Millimeter Wave Engineering and RF Manufacturing Technologies from January 2001 until May 2004 and Director, Microwave Components from August 1996 until December 2000, of Harris Corporation, an international communications equipment company focused on providing product, system, and service solutions for commercial and government customers. From 1980 until 1996, he held various positions at Watkins-Johnson Company, a company that manufactures semiconductor equipment and wireless communication products. At Watkins-Johnson, Mr. Peck led the team that engineered and then transitioned to production of the AIM-120 AMRAAM missile front end. Mr. Peck received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and the degree of Electrical Engineer (professional degree) from the University of Michigan.
